How to add the Service Area WIZARD code to WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or any HTML website.

Installation

1. Set up your dashboard

  1. Sign up. It's free.
  2. Go to Service areas and create one: your business postcode / zip code and radius in kilometres.
  3. Go to Sites → Add site. Enter your website's domain (e.g. mybusiness.com) and choose what should happen to out-of-area enquiries.
  4. The install instructions open automatically (or click Install on your site later). Your code looks like this:
<script src="https://serviceareawizard.com/embed.js?key=pk_..." defer></script>

The code only works on the domains you list for that site. Subdomains (like www.) are included automatically.

2. Add the code to your website

Paste the code once, and it works on every form on your site that has a postcode or zip code field.

WordPress

The easiest way is the Service Area WIZARD plugin: install it, then paste your site key into Settings → Service Area WIZARD.

If you'd rather not install our plugin, paste the full code into a header and footer scripts plugin such as WPCode, in the footer section.

Wix

  1. In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings and open Custom Code (under Advanced).
  2. Click + Add Custom Code and paste the code.
  3. Choose All pages → Load code once, and place it in Body - end. Click Apply.

Wix only allows custom code on Premium plans with a connected domain.

Squarespace

  1. Search for Code Injection in the Squarespace dashboard search bar and open it.
  2. Paste the code into the Footer box and click Save.

Code Injection is only available on Squarespace plans that include custom code.

Webflow

  1. Open Site settings → Custom code.
  2. Paste the code into Footer code and click Save.
  3. Publish your site.

Shopify

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes, click ⋯ next to your theme, then Edit code.
  2. Open layout/theme.liquid, paste the code just above </body> and click Save.

Google Tag Manager

If your site already uses Google Tag Manager, you don't need to touch your website at all:

  1. Go to Tags → New → Tag Configuration → Custom HTML.
  2. Paste the code.
  3. Set the trigger to All Pages, save, then click Submit to publish.

Any other website

Paste the code on every page with a form, just before the closing </body> tag. Most website builders have a "footer code", "custom code" or "code injection" setting for this.

Forms that load inside an iframe (such as Typeform, Google Forms or iframe-embedded Jotform) can't be checked.

Not sure how?

On the Sites page, click Install → Email to my web developer. It opens an email with the code and these instructions, ready to send to whoever manages your website.

3. Test it

Open your website once. Back on the Sites page, your site should now show Installed on yourdomain.com (refresh the page if it doesn't).

Then open the page with your contact form and type in a postcode from outside your service area. You should see the out-of-area message (unless you chose Tag only). Check the Overview page in your dashboard to see the checks coming in.

You can also use Try it on the Sites page to test postcodes without visiting your website.
